Summary: | While at Algiers Airport, the aircraft was hijacked by terrorists who intended to blow up the plane over Paris, but it was prevented from taking off until after the terrorists had killed three passengers. Fuel consumption during the long standoff put Paris out of range, so the plane flew to Marseille, France, where French forces stormed the plane and killed the four hijackers.They charged the plane by riding three sets of airstairs to the doors. |
