Summary: | The aircraft took off from Prinses Juliana Airport at St. Maarten for a 15 minute flight to St. Jean Airport at St. Barthélémy. While attempting to land at St. Barthélémy the plane veered sharply to the left and plunged straight down crashing into a house and bursting into flames.
