| Summary: | Shortly after takeoff from runway 29, the left engine failed and the crew was unable to gain sufficient height. The captain was cleared to make an emergency landing. While approaching runway 29 from the east, the airplane went out of control, struck the roof of a building and crashed in a field located about 6 km southeast of the airport. The flight engineer was killed along with a person on the ground. |
