Thank you for this excellent aviation site.
All pilots, no matter how experienced, and would-be-pilots, would be safer pilots by knowing the historical facts that happened to cause a plane to crash. Commercial pilots would benefit from a quiz on past crashes prior to being issued a license renewal. "Have you read, 'Fate is the Hunter'" would be a question on the Airline Transport Pilot test for example?
Thanks again for your wonderful site, it will help to make flying safer.

Thank You For This Site. I Worked For An Airline For 20 Years And Some Of This Info Hard To Read But At The Same Time If You Were Involved In One Of The Accidents Or Know Someone That Was It Helps To Be Aware Of The Correct Info And Images When Dealing With Said Persons, And Continueing The Healing Process That They Are Going Thru. I Know It Helps Me To Look Back And See Images Of The Accident I Was Involved In Because At Times I Begin To Believe it Really Did Not Happen, That It Was Just A Bad Dream That I Really Do Not Need To Deal With, But I Then See The Images And I Know It Really Did Happen And I Am A Survivor! And I Then Know That, TODAY IS A BETTER DAY BECAUSE I DID SURVIVE. It Makes Today Much More WONDERFUL AND I AM GLAD TO BE ALIVE!!!!!

ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU

My father was Western Air Lines airport manager when the DC10 crashed at Mexico City's International Airport in 1979. After the investigation, the aircraft remains were destroyed but I was able to keep a couple of the cockpit indicators. Some sites have removed the photos of the crash. Do you know where I can find them? Thanks in advance and congratulations for your outstanding work.
