:) Thanks for maintaining a good site. The media are atrocious at communicating actual stats.

Is there a way to simply display total amount of commercial accidents by year? Or a downloadable ssheet I can plug into SPSS? Thanks again!

According to the newspaper China Daily, the QZ8501 (flight 8501) is an Airbus A320-200 not an Airbus A320-216.

Reply: A320-216 is the same model as A320-200 except it specifies the configuration of the aircraft specific for the airline.

i.e.
Piper PA-31 350 Navajo Chieftain
crash.

This is a fascinating site. Keep up the great work! Just noticed the recent addition of the memorial section. Two quick comments on that section: the carriers involved in the Tenerife crash in 1977 are listed as KLM and United. They should be KLM and Pan Am and I noticed the absence of the TWA 800 memorial, which I believe is in Smith Point Park on Long Island.
