A Korean war vintage Sabrejet crashed into a Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor in Sacramento California in 1972, killing 22 people on the ground, including 12 children.  The pilot tried to lift off too early as he attempted to take off from Sacramento Executive Airport.  He was pulled from the wreckage and survived.
