I was on a Lufthansa flight from frenkfurt to manchester last night.
We were about to land in Manchester and i could see fromt he window we were a few feet from touchdown when the engines kicked in (horrible noise) and we took off again. When we were safe the captain came on board and said due to windshear he aborted the landing and we safetly landed at the second attempt (alarm beeps could be heard in the cockpit on 2nd approach)
How often does this kind of thing happen? i've been involved in far bumpier approaches before landing, this seemed fine until the engines came to life and it scared the hell out of me |

The photo of the helicopter crash on your main page is for the wrong accident. The red helicopter wreckage was from a crash in Mississppi, of an R22, NOT the medivac flight.

| I live in Antigua and there hasnt been any accidents like that with any aircraft arriving and departing my country. am not a psychic nor a fortune teller but i have to keep checking with this site because its very up to date. In addition i am a dreamer and i dream about aircraft accidents all the time ,am also fasinated with planes especially my favourite caribben airlines. my this website is interesting good job! |
