Brief Hello and ThankYou, Richard K., for your efforts in this wonderful/Emotion-Full site. I am a surviving nephew of a deceased AA/AmericanAirlines senior flight officer... my "Uncle Jim" ... James B. Boyd -- "Uncle Jim". He was not my 'blood' uncle... he was hubby of my aunt (my mom's sister). UncJim was a true Pioneer in US Commercial aviation... long story, of course. Not to unfold, here! ... To the point... I have your Email address (from your webpages) <<kebab@planecrashinfo.com>> ... and, with your permission, I am going to ask you to have a look at a particular Award that was given to UncJim ... It speaks for itself; and, I have done a bit of research... even with two New Jersey state Reference Librarians... and more... and can find nothing in the news media about this incident... (pls see the attached photos of UncJim's award for valor). I would just like to, perhaps, see and read anything that might have been "in the newspapers" on or near that time... Enough said, here. | I love disasters, even if there quite sad. This is a nice site to keep track of, to bad it looks like it's less up to date, because I have heared each day at least 1 plane crashes, is that right? |
