i was looking for some type of form to put my comment and suggestion regarding plane crash and i think this is perfect site to float an idea for the safety of passengers Ihave been travelling in planes for 28 years and observed that staff member of airline give top priorty to the saftey of passengers and in this regards they take every step to educate the passengers how to use LIFEJACKETS which is kept under the seats But going through some history of plane crashes i fail to find any mention of anyone using lifejackets or it has been of any use in such accidents Iam a lay man in aviation field still I suggest the idea of developing some type of parachutes which might help save some lives in such incidents |

| Excellent site! I like the fact it's easy to navigate and find info. I like how you can review each accident by decade and the CVR transcripts are a nice addition to the site. The short description and photo's of each accident are great. One thing that would be cool is if it had "Accidents by aircraft type" much like it has by operator. Thanks again for a great site! |

| an excellent site and a bit sobering. To learn just how many airplane crahes there are (almost one per day) is a bit unnerving. The arrogance of the pilots, the lack of concern for the passengers (letting your children fly a passenger jet), not paying attention to details (taking off on the wrong runway) and just the neglect, incompetence, and/or lack of responsibility of those in charge is enough to bring back walking as the only reasonably safe method of transportation. At least of we trip and fall we only have ourselves to blame. |

i have to say this site is rather interesting indeed,it just goes to show what information goes on behind closed doors and what some people will do to cover things up.
all in all this is a great site. |

| Hiii... this is a great site to have all the airplane disasters of the past. but my wish is that there must be no incidents in future to be updated in this site. let this yemenia air be the last record to be added to this site... thanks. |
